The Seniors Presentation Evening has been arranged for FRIDAY 18TH MAY @ THE BOLLINGTON ARTS CENTRE 7PM. All welcome (including partners) and there's no charge - apart from the beer that is.
This has been newly re-furbished and has an excellent bar serving ales from the Bollington Brewing Company. Food will be supplied by The Vale and will most likely be something simple and tasty like a Chilli (veg or meat) and a dessert.
I hope you can all come along to celebrate the Club's successes and a craic with those who you might not normally meet!
The Arts Centre can be found at Wellington Road Bollington, SK10 5JR
Thanks a lot Phil Barnes

A message from our race organiser Alan Weeks....
'If anyone still wants to enter they need to be quick - we're nearly full - just a few more days.
More details are here.Â
Can any Harriers could help with marshalling the Trout Run this year? It's on 2nd June this time. Also, may well be in need of an experienced timekeeper - can anyone who's done it before offer their services ??  as our regular chap will be away.
Many thanks, This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. Â '
Finally be aware that the fete location, and the start location for the race, changes each year, see the website - link above - for details, and ARRIVE EARLY.

Thanks to all of the good folk of Rainow for putting the event on again for us (not to mention the tea and cakes !).
A bit muddier than some years, but just as much fun.
A fine win by Jack Ross in the men's race, followed by the Harriers' Simon Harding, and another excellent run by Olivia Walwyn-Bush to win the ladies, in 8th place overall.
Full results are here
I'm told they had some lost property at the hall, so if you've lost owt, perhaps you could let me know here and I'll pass the message on.

The race went off in ideal conditions this year, with a turnout of 150 ish, or 50% up on what we anticipated !!
Michael Salt won again this year - he won the first running of the race - with Tom Bush in second, and Olivia Walwyn-Bush in an excellent 3rd place.
Full results are here, and a fine photo from the race here
Â
Thanks to the Bollington Brewery for all their help, to the various marshals and organisers for doing their bit, and finallly to all the runners for turning up for the race, as without you we'd have had lots of spare food and beer which would be unforgiveable.
We hope you all had fun and will be back next year !!
