British fell relays - results

Well done to the 4 teams that represented Macc in Llanberis at British fell relays yesterday. There were strong performances across all the teams on a challenging, very muddy course. Special mention to the ladies V40 team who finished 4th in their age category!

Andrew Heywood Memorial Windgather Fell Race, Sun 15th Oct 2017 at 11:00

Thanks everyone for coming along to this year's jaunt.

Many thanks also to all the marshals, sweepers, timekeepers, tea and food section and everyone else who helped the race run smoothly.

We managed a day of good weather and despite the wet conditions underfoot some excellent times.

With your help well over ÂŁ1000 has been raised for charities and good causes local and further afield : Buxton Rotary will let me know how much, and where it;s going, ASAP.

Results are here...

Filnally, please, if you've any feedback for us drop me a note: in particular if you've any views on the date of next year's race: as I'd quite like to avoid the FRA relays if possible.

Thanks again cheers Julian julianbrown10 at hotmail.co.uk

2017 Tegg's Nose Fell Race Results

From Simon (and Sam...) to both of whom many thanks....

'Many, many thanks to all who helped yesterday.

Simon Bailey won in 52.15 and as ever, looked composed throughout.

Club member Kathleen won the Ladies' race and despite her protests of 'never again' I think we'll see her out and about soon.

Nice day too, apart from the 5 minute shower which apparently missed the speedier folk !

I am sure I can speak for Sam in saying thanks to all who helped....without volunteers, there'd be no race.
